Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19
To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).
Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.
Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.
Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a different speaking voice, but that was perfectly fine. Went back to the Spotify playlist once the Q&A in T1 and T2 were done just for a little bit of ambience whilst folks got out of there.
Everything has been cleaned up apart from the external speakers in T2, which I'll take down Monday, no issue, we just needed to get the next show started.
Presentation Issues: During the Q&A in T1, mic #4 started to fade in and out and I noticed I wasn't getting a good signal in the booth from its panel. All mics were fully charged, but a good signal was the issue. Something is fading or blocked - I brought it to the booth and tried it there and had no issue whatsoever. Anyway, there were only four folks speaking, so they shared three mics and it wasn't a big deal. I'm going to take another look at the mics on Monday with a pair of fresh eyes to solve the mic #4 problem.

I emailed DMS about this already, but we had to cancel a show this morning for first round in T6. Again, despite a valid read on the TMS for Smile 2, the feature content hadn't transferred over. This shouldn't be happening since, as everyone on projection knows, all scheduled content that has not yet been ingested to an IMS will automatically transfer 72 hours before showtime. There is obviously something funky happening and we'll get to the bottom of it. I've pulled logs and a detailed report for Chris. I checked content in all other rooms screening Smile 2, and all other feature content for T6 this weekend, just for good measure.
