NPP Projection Close 5/10

To do this evening/ was completed: Built playlists for The Wiz, Blue Velvet, Monos (still waiting on feature) and NoBudge. T1 looks like it doesn't have 1.90 lens cue at the moment--two of the shorts are listed as 1.90 lens on event memo. Also no 4.8 volume cue on Screenwriter so I made those shorts 5.0 and will be working the event so will know to drop it by .2 when they come on. Still waiting on custom preshow for Film Feast. New 35mm letters up and took down brunch side letters at the end of the night, right as a large crowd started to materialize, so I'll put up new brunch letters tomorrow. NPP Projection Open 5/10

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built and scheduled an infants Michael  show playlist for the OCAP screening on 5/12 + double checked and scheduled the playlist for Men in Black in theater 2 for tomorrow evening (the feature content for this should finish transferring this evening) Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Double checked Bugsy Malone  in theater 3 + ran loops ahead of  The Virgin Suicides in theater 1 (both screenings went smoothly and feature content for Bugsy Malone was deleted after the show) Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Outgoing/Shipping (content): Print/video Inspection: Put The Virgin Suicides  back on its shipping reels Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Maintenance/cleaning: Overhauled the poster cubby behind 3/7; started a new archive tube, added more recent titles to the trivia section, and tossed a bunch of past titles/ones we were not schedul...

Projection Close 5/9

To do this evening/ was completed: Somewhat mysterious activity in T1 as, during final round, it seems as though the cue for the volume change (for the feature) did not execute ( I was walkied to go to T2 instead of 1, which was then corrected by James, but this delayed the fix), then later on the lights for the credits didn't execute. No projector issue, no server or lighting panel issue indicated anywhere...I went through the same playlist once last round was over and had no issues at all. Regardless, please keep an eye on T1 tomorrow.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Brought the volume up for Michael. NPP Projection Report 5/9 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: The private event went well. Host decided to forego the mic. Everything played without issue. The Virgin Suicides  went very well. Didn't have any framing issues, even after switching P1 from scope to flat, so maybe that was a misthread during the tech yesterday. Print is rewound for tomorrow. Projection Admin 5/8

To do this evening/ was completed: The Rookie has been packaged up and will get picked up on Monday. We've got the green light to hold off on shipping Help!!! until we figure out a plan with FedEx rates. - L New titles up on the marquee. Little Mermaid needs to go up tonight. Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Jack and I built A1 playlists for the week of 5/15. NPP Projection Close 5/7

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Had a manual start at the top of the second round in theater 6 and misread project Hail Mary for  Mother Mary on the cues...I was alerted about the error roughly 5 minutes into the feature and made the switch Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built a pre-show for Ladies of Leisure Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: John Woods helped with moving the turntable at Trees for the Doc N Roll afterparty (the DJ ended up using an RCA setup through our mixer) + chairs and mics were brought down and put back after the events in 1 STB set up and screening went smoothly (note about the new laptop: there is an iCloud notification that pops up once every few minutes and putting the laptop on DND did not keep it from interfering with the controls on screen...might have to actually access/connect to our account to prevent it from doing this) Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Additional The Odyssey posters and a  Shaun of the Sh...
