NPP Projection Close 2/24

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Plex gave me some trouble at Trees this evening (specifically the Prospect Park account) as films could be selected and played but would then pause within moments of starting. I tried disconnecting and reconnecting the AppleTV as a fix box but this did nothing to resolve the connectivity issue. NPP Projection Admin 2/24

To do this evening/ was completed: T3 zoom Q&A set up. Invited Cristina and Will to the meeting so check your inbox. Speaker is set up with mic, speaker currently turned off. Speaker is from T2 so can get put back after show. Tested mic and zoom audio, all set. Also looked at the feature itself, looks and sounds good. New 35mm marquee letters up. Downloading Ferris Bueller feature DCP to share drive for tech screening tomorrow. Please ingest and send to T3 tonight. DCP downloading on Jack's profile, so don't exit out of that. Lost Boys ingested to LMS. Presentation Issues: T3 server went down today before we opened. Usual restart brought the server back online. -Casey from DMS asked me to try a few things with the server offline which I did. These didn't reveal much, only that the web controls are inaccessible with the server in this state yet it remains active on the network which I confirmed by "pinging" the IP. NPP Projection Close 2/22

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Adjusted and tech'd the Spy Kids  private event show playlist and double checked Blithe Spirit before the first rounds this morning (note: thankfully the event in theater 6 did not need spots but I tested these anyway and one of them is not working...could use some assistance replacing the batteries for this/setting up the larger ladder to reach the ceiling in this room tomorrow morning) Blithe Spirit played without any issues and the feature content was removed from the server this afternoon Snow Day screening went smoothly and the projectors were cleaned/exhausts closed after the show Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Outgoing/Shipping (content): Print/video Inspection: Placed  Snow Day back on its shipping reels/in its canisters Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Maintenance/cleaning: Cue sheets updated/check...

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Snow Day went very well. Print has been rewound and projectors cleaned. Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Outgoing/Shipping (content): Print/video Inspection: Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Maintenance/cleaning: Fixed the closed caption settings for T3 and T7 so the captions actually correspond to the correct auditorium number on the CaptiView. Sorry about that. Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Marquee updated?: Took down Marty Supreme , The Moment , No Other Choice , and The Secret Agent and rearranged the remaining titles. NPP Projection Close 2/20

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: A guest in theater 7 requested a closed captions device during the second round (the feature was Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die ) and asked for assistance with it since the captions displayed were for the wrong film. I had it connected to 7 prior to this but went back downstairs, reconnected it, and noticed the issue myself. I switched to theater 3 as an experiment and, weirdly, it had the correct captions being transmitted even though Sirat  was playing in this auditorium.  7 was connected to 3's audio and vice versa. I'm not exactly sure how the signals got crossed as I've never seen this happen before. The round continued without any issues once I made the switch. Could be worth looking into if a rewiring is needed in these rooms.
