NPP Projection Open 9/20

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built a playlist for Zeism: The Brooklyn Knight  and placed a minute of black with house lights up at its end since the film has no credits Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Set up and tested the AJA/HDMI connection and wireless mics for The Deuce twice this morning (once after I had connected everything and again when the hosts arrived + ran the first reel of Ghosts of Mars  with Cristina to get a volume level prior to the pre-show starting) Ghosts of Mars screening went smoothly, save for a brief moment during the first reel when the soundtrack switched from SRD to Dolby A, as did the raffle after the film + spoke to the hosts about having a spots setting made for them for their raffle segment (spots on the right and left sides of the screen) for the next event in January Mixer, mics, wires, and tables were placed back beneath the curtain after the show (the wireless mics transmitter fr...

NPP Projection Report 9/19 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: There is another marquee rental that needs to go up tonight and remain up through Monday. I got the letters out minus one "Y." The current rental is using two "Y"s, so one of those can be used. The current one needs to stay up until 10pm. Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Above the Rim went nicely. I rewound it back onto the shipping reels and packed it away. Scope lenses and plates are in for tomorrow. Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): I downloaded Lithium Rising (private event 9/23) from YouTube and converted to DCP. Ingested to the LMS and Theater 3. Host for the 10/3 private event dropped off their blu-ray of Newsies which is currently converting down in T1, finishing onto George Ivan. They left their phone number on a piece of paper with the blu-ray and asked us to confirm it's good once we tech it. Just mentioning it in case...

Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Kat sent a new QR code clip which I tech'd volume for and added to all the 9/18 and SE playlists we have. The volume (3.8) has been noted on the white board. Projection Admin 9/17***

To do this evening/ was completed: Childhood Delusions tonight! Went over the game plan with Will and Cristina. Info below.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Resident Evil has been teched.  Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Noticed when setting up for the DJ tonight (doesn't happen until much later though) that the mixer was gone, so I reached out to John and they brought it over. Will is gonna hook up the rest of it but I got everything else setup down there, so it's just the mixer.  Both playlists were adjusted and tested, cue sheets updated too and made sure that MOD was aware and printed out the correct version. We pushed back the intro time in T2 so Will has more wiggle room to get there. The spots/wash info are written on white cards and taped above the port glass in both projection booths. The laptop is hooked up to T2 for the Spotify playlist (which I tested in both theatres). The cord in T1 for Spotify is hooked up to the iMac, all ready to ...
