NPP Projection Close 6/9

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Heroes for Sale  intro and screening went super smoothly. Mics and stands were returned after the show. The print shed a bit so the projectors got a thorough cleaning. All reels are back on plastic and the can is sealed. Labels/return can be printed and scheduled tomorrow.  DJ set got underway as soon as the film ended. No issues with playback. Not exactly a fan of the mess left around the turntables by Mr. Kline...food and drinks...cables all a mess...I digress...put everything away once the event wrapped (note: one of the cables, XLR to RCA line, was under tension beneath the turntable and got stripped from its XLR side. I thought I had my finger on the clasp to properly separate it from the wall XLR extensions but pulled on it too hard. Will need to replace this one for future DJ sets unless we have a spare here or at NWB. I left this on the desktop in...

NPP Projection Admin 6/9 Jack/Alec

To do this evening/ was completed: Ran loops for tonight, all set. Cleaned the projectors afterward. New forecasts ingested, built 6/12 playlists and scheduled coming week in LMS. Alec built the cue sheets. New 35mm letters up on marquee. Disclosure Day playlists have the exclusive Odyssey Trailer 3 right before policy/feature. Packed up Strangers on a Train and scheduled Express pickup for today. It's on the cart. Projection Admin 6/8

To do this evening/ was completed: Had a lovely but very long interview with the Nolan/Odyssey reps early this morn. Screen the trailer for them, which was super, super fun. - L Ran house checks in all theaters -WB Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: We are still waiting on the 6/12 forecasts from Kat for the new playlists. She should have them sorted by tomorrow!- L Built and scheduled an infants show playlist for Backrooms  tomorrow in theater 2. Brought the volume down lower than usual since there are only a couple of tickets sold and the feature get rather loud -WB Built staff and OCAP show playlists for Disclosure Day  -WB Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Got everything ready for the Knicks game this evening. Projector XLRs are plugged in. Breaker is on/volume up. To do this evening/ was completed: Re-ingested Ratatouille to T1. All You Need is Kill ingested to LMS. New brunch letters up. Gave guest Captiview unit and it quickly snapped at the base. So now we're down to 1-2 working units (one of these was not in the maintenance closet, location TBD at the moment). NPP Projection Open 6/7

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Updated the Chocolate Babies show playlist with the restored feature content and added timing for credits Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Double checked Stolen Kingdom in theater 3 prior to the first round...thought about adjusting the feature volume but the mix is too low at 4.0 and loud enough at 4.5 Ran loops in 1 for Strangers on a Train this morning. Ended up running the print with the curtains at 1.33 since the 1.37 cue kept reverting the masking back to 1.85. I have a feeling this has to do with changes made to the settings for Obsession since that film needed a custom preset but I could be wrong. For now I have updated the playlist to open the curtains to 1.33 but this can be better remedied tomorrow since the encore screening is not until 9:15PM.
