NPP Projection Close 3/17

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Set up for trivia at Trees Lounge and later put everything back in its proper storage Riding in Cars with Boys intro and screening in theater 4 this evening went well Plex kept pausing and eventually lost connection at Trees about an hour before trivia began. I was able to connect to it via the 4/6 desktop but in order to play content it kept pushing pricing plans on me. Switched to the Williamsburg account and was able to play content there but opted to keep the NBA pre-game on at Trees for the time being instead Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Normal one sheets were delivered and stored behind 3/7   Ordering/Receiving (content): The remaining reels for Pieces of April were delivered and brought up to the 4/6 booth + began converting Bent to DCP for NSF26 and saved its file to the shared drive Began unzipping one of the files downloaded to the Ge...

NPP Projection Admin 3/17

To do this evening/ was completed: Tech'd Swordfish, volume logged. Tech'd all of Opening Nite shorts, info updated on tech sheet (volumes, aspect). Two of the shorts are 1.50:1 ratio which we don't have masking for at the moment, so we'll have to update that before the show. Downloading Stranger By The Lake to George Ivan drive. Also looked at Jaws tech playlist. Feature keys haven't opened yet but rest of the playlist looks good. I scheduled the tech playlist for tomorrow because it has pieces that were missing from the original. Mic set in T4, print tech'd, volume logged. Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built and scheduled Dead Pigs after teching the feature. Also built Do the Right Thing . Also ingested Dead Pigs and Do The Right Thing  to LMS. Projection Admin 3/16

To do this evening/ was completed: Transferring all the Opening Nite shorts to T1 so that y'all are ready for tech tomorrow. - L Presentation Issues: Not an issue, but no one showed up to the first round in T7 ( Scream ), so we shut it off. - L Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built Project Hail Mary show playlists for the week of 3/20 -WB  ^^^(just fyi we will have to update these once the keys open - feature will likley need masking adjustments - LH) Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Video intro for Do the Right Thing ingested - this is for Soderbergh MUI6. - L Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): We received the file again for Dead Pigs , which is downloading to the Share folder via Aspera. NPP Projection Close 3/15

To do this evening/ was completed: The Oscars went smoothly, thanks Will for the pre-setup. All equipment broken down and returned to respective corners at the end of the night. Presentation Issues: Theater 5 Round 4: MOD walkie'd to say that the wrong movie was playing. Send Help had been scheduled when it should've been Scream. Quickly brought up lights slightly, ejected the playlist and got the right film going. No negative flip for the round after. NPP Projection Admin 3/15

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates:  Special Events/ AV set up: Mic set up for the St Patrick's Day brunch event at Trees  Checked cable connections for the Oscars events in theaters 1 and 2 this morning and everything is in working order. Set up the spots board and wireless mics via the mixer/PA speakers and checked volume with mics 1 and 2  over the cable audio (4.5 for now but everything can be raised once the crowd comes in). Mics are charging in the booth for the time being. To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Ingested TLR_NPP_FORECAST_0313_A_V2 and updated this week's playlists accordingly Built and scheduled an infants playlist for Sirāt this Tuesday 3/17 (pre-show, trailer, and feature volumes lowered + house lights at mid level for the duration of the trailers and film) Built all first run show playlists for the week of 3/20 (with the exception of Project Hail Mary  since we are waiting on the rest of its pre-show files) and a show playlist for Labyrinth  on 3/21-22.
