Projection Report 1/15



Presentation Issues: It seems that the fire alarm was triggered sometime over night — all of the servers were on red-light mode when I came in. I did the rounds of the building and re-set the override in each booth. Everything was fine from then on.

** both evening shows in theater 2 (Vice and The Favourite) failed to auto-start and had to be run manually

*** the final show in theater 7 (Vice) also failed to auto-start and had to be started manually

Preshow Clips/Playlist: scheduled the rest of Thursday's shows where possible (beware of a few manual starts in there)

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): we received KDMs for Glass. They have been uploaded to all screens — feature should be good to go (it's reading as playable in Thursday's scheduler)

** we did also eventually get the updated Green Book keys for tomorrow & Thursday. These have been ingested and are good to go.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): a courier was supposed to arrive to pick up our drive of Green Book. I never received any word that they were on premises, but, the drive is sitting in booth 4/6 if it still needs to be picked up.

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
