Projection Report 2/27



Presentation Issues: there was a literal last-minute race to get the KDMs for Goodfellas, which were not delivered to us until about a half hour before the start of preshow. This was a pretty crazy situation, but it all worked out. Thank you to Dylan S, Mascha, John, and Matthew for all having a hand in getting Warner Bros and Deluxe to talk to each other and get us the keys.

Preshow Clips/Playlist: made A1 playlists for Greta, Sound Of Music, and Into The SpiderVerse. I also scheduled all shows for Friday & Saturday where possible.

** received new KDMs for Bohemian Rhapsody and Sound Of Music. These have been ingested.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: GOODFELLAS special event. Once we got the KDMs, this went fine. The DCP looked and sounded excellent. We did not receive the intro slide, however, so I built some black into the playlist and Nick gave his intro in front of that. All good.

** we received a "new" version of A Star Is Born — the "Encore" version, which apparently has bonus footage and other stuff attached to it. Did we book this or is it an accident?

*** Free Solo needs to be re-ingested to the TMS. I only caught this after already sending a bunch of stuff out for Fri/Sat, so, I have left the drive sitting at the foot of the TMS rack, ready to ingest first thing tomorrow.

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
