Projection Report 3/8 (admin)



Presentation Issues: a weird glitch has occurred in the TMS scheduler. Whatever time you try to schedule a playlist for, TMS is actually plugging it into the grid two hours earlier. I discovered a work-around to this by trying to schedule the start time for two hours past when it's supposed to begin, and then re-'saving' the scheduled show in the grid to the correct time. It's tedious but appears to do the trick. Please keep an eye on the scheduled start times from Monday onwards just in case it is actually programming shows to begin two hours late . . . (or if daylight savings time somehow alters the start times)

Preshow Clips/Playlist: I scheduled all of Monday — Thursday's shows (except for Smoke)

** built a playlist for CLUELESS dinner and a movie style (with intro slide for Nick to give his schpiel on top of before the credits). This playlist still needs its credit offset — the log-in was not saved for Deluxe One, though. Does anybody know the username/password for this?

*** downloaded the RIP Luke Perry slide and added it to the Buffy playlist

**** somebody please QC Buffy on screen tonight or tomorrow (and get those credit offsets please)

Trailer Updates: I updated the trailer packs to include Clueless (adult and all ages) as well as version 2 of the Us trailer (adult only)

** updated the 'events' trailer pack. We'll need to removed Smoke and add Dog Day Afternoon to this after Clueless plays.

Special Events/ AV set up:

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): a blu-ray of BLACK PANTHER has arrived for the field trip event on 3/27. It is sitting with the other incoming content.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Michael and I carried all the remaining outbound DCP drives over to the UPS drop off

Print/video Inspection: did a QC of Woman At War in theater 6 to check the subtitles situation. They looked good to me!

** also QC'd the Luke Perry slide on screen — no problems

Distro Doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: We're not actually losing any films this weekend, but, I took down The Favorite and Beale Street from the outside posters and put up Apollo 11 and Woman At War in their place.

Cue sheets updated (only if needed): made all cue sheets for Monday — Thursday (except for Smoke on Thursday). Also added feature start times to the cue sheets for the entire week.

Showtime boards & recording updated?: I removed "Captain Marvels Opens Thurs" from the north side marquee (since yesterday was Thursday and it opened). I added Captain Marvel to the front, along with Apollo 11. To the north side I added "Buffy / Sat - Sun Brunch".

Cleaning lights on for the night?: n/a

Additional Notes: Michael Lawless was here shadowing me all day. I showed him a lot of things!

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
