Projection report 4/12 (admin)



Presentation Issues: None

Preshow Clips/Playlist: built a Bad News Bears playlist, scheduled it for the weekend (also sent the content out to theater 2). Updated the scheduler for Sunday.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: double staff screenings — HER SMELL in theater 1, and AMAZING GRACE in theater 3.

** Liz came to do a QC of SWIM TEAM in theater 2. All good.

Print/video Inspection: I did not realize that Bad News Bears had not been QC'd, and missed my window to do it. Apologies. If somebody can just get eyes on this after the last Us screening, that would be awesome.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Updated

Maintenance/cleaning:

Cue sheets updated (only if needed): filled in end times on the cue sheets for the weekend. Also made some pretty big changes to the Sunday cue sheet to reflect the most recent film schedule.

Marquee updated?: added Her Smell and Amazing Grace to the front side marquee. Removed The Beach Bum. The info on the Q&As has been left on the north side — this will have to come down tonight or tomorrow morning. (Also corrected the misspelling in Captain Marvel)

Posters updated?: Beach Bum has been taken down outside and replaced with a 'coming soon' Long Shot. Also added 'now playing' to both Her Smell and Amazing Grace.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
