Projection Report 4/16 Admin/Open



Presentation Issues: None so far

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Created A1_Sandlot. Still needs trailer and preshow updates, however.

Trailer Updates: None until after 9 to 5.

Special Events/ AV set up: Trivia Tuesday tonight! I donated a few posters to Jessie to be used as prizes. No other set up required.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): We received new posters for Long Shot. I think the one out front is fine for now though.

Ordering/Receiving (content): Received/ingested the DCP of The Sandlot for this weekend. Also ingested new keys for Dumbo and Captain Marvel

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Waiting on keys to QC The Sandlot

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes. Removed High Life, which is playing at WB, but not here. I gave our two posters to Jess to bring to Joe.

Maintenance/cleaning:

Cue sheets updated (only if needed): Cue sheets for next week are filled out through the week besides credit times. I will input that once the playlists are updated and scheduled.

Marquee updated?: Alec, can you put up an advert for The Sandlot on the north side when you get in tomorrow? Thanks!

Posters updated?: I took down one of the Us posters that was hanging out front and replaced it with a The Dead Don't Die poster.

Cleaning lights on for the night?: n/a

Projection cart by TH5?: Please make sure you are doing this every time you close! If not our content ends up scattered throughout the theater.

Nest: Be on standby to assist with trivia

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. SE screenings went smoothly. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state.
