Presentation Issues: We had a customer complaint in theater 7 that the back channel for Avengers was not coming through. I watched a bit of the movie to check, and did not notice anything especially weird. I touched base with Michael who confirmed that we are waiting on replacement back speakers (which then arrived a couple hours later). I asked if we should switch to the 5.1 mix in that theater, and Michael said to just let it ride out with 7.1, as there isn't much sound information in the back mix. The playlist has remained.

** the Lights Mid cue in theater 6 was not turning on the side lights (just the overheads). But then in this last round they ... just started working again. Okay. Keep an eye on these.

*** I've sat in on a bunch of the Avengers shows today, and I am wondering if 4.5 is too quiet a volume for this movie. Anybody want to give a second opinion?

Preshow Clips/Playlist: made a bunch of "temp" Avengers playlists to assist with the trailer updates (see below). These can all be deleted.

** updated playlists for the weekend to include more "15min" Avengers playlists. Theaters 1-3 are pretty much non-stop Avengers now.

Trailer Updates: removed John Wick 3 from the Avengers trailer pack in lieu of noticing how many kids are coming to this movie. Replaced it with Toy Story 4.

Special Events/ AV set up:

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): I ordered posters for MA, and an additional poster of DETECTIVE PIKACHU (again)

Ordering/Receiving (content): not "content" per se but we received the new speakers. They are currently stacked up by the side entrance, ready to be moved somewhere more appropriate and less in the way of the kitchen staff.

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: deleted Dumbo, Pet Sematary, and Amazing Grace from all projectors

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift):

Marquee updated?: Removed Dumbo, Pet Sematary, and Amazing Grace from the front, added Avengers. Also added "Spoons Toons / This Weekend" to the north side.

Posters updated?: removed the Pet Sematary, Amazing Grace, and Dumbo posters. Put up John Wick (coming soon), and Avengers (now showing). I could not find the Detective Pikachu poster in booth 4/6 or 3/7, so, I doubled up the Long Shot (coming soon) poster outside since we seem to have nothing else to put up.

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
