Projection Report 6/13 Close


Presentation Issues: Last round in theater 5 was Aladdin on Filmbot but Avengers Endgame on the cue sheets and scheduler. Luckily this was caught while preshow was still running so I switched it to Aladdin before the trailers and movie started.

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Added the updated LilHawk preshow to Aladdin, Pets 2, and Honey I Shrunk the Kids

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordered posters for The Lion King, and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood since we could use some extra posters to hang. I also ordered posters for Yesterday before I saw that we got some today.

Print/video Inspection: Texas Chainsaw DCP in theater 2. Looks and sounds awesome, but it's gotta be played loud. I have it at 5.5 in the playlist.

Marquee updated?: Up to date

Posters updated?: Rearranged posters so the northern side is all "coming soon" (Yesterday, Midsommar, Toy Story 4, The Cure: Live at Hyde Park) and the southern is all "now showing" (everything that's opening/holding this weekend except Men in Black which we're still waiting for a poster for). I also took down Ma from the lobby and put up another poster for Toy Story 4.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
