Projection Report 6/18/19



Presentation Issues: None

Preshow Clips/Playlist: sent feature and preshow for TOY STORY 4 to servers 1 and 2 for the weekend. Note: I set the lights up cue to the beginning of the actual credits, not the crawl. Feel free to change this if we need to.

** built a Toy Story 4 playlist, scheduled it for Thursday's show

*** the Dolby recalibration made some of our sound cues a little loud. I lowered feature cues for Aladdin and Rocketman, and also lowered the preshow volume on Pets 2 re: customer and server feedback.

Trailer Updates: began building an updated All Ages trailer pack for next week ('062119'). NOTE that it is missing the 'Outdoors' ad since it has not appeared on Dropbox yet.

** removed LITTLE FUGITIVE from trailer packs

Special Events/ AV set up:

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): received and ingested keys for Toy Story 4, Pets 2, and Booksmart

** downloaded the 'July Card A' bumper from Dropbox, ingested it to TMS

Marquee updated?: added Little Fugitive info to the north side. I did not get to add the 'Celebrate BK' info to the front side since we are low on some letters.

Posters updated?: put up Once Upon A Time In Hollywood in the lobby (took down the duplicate Toy Story 4)

Cleaning lights on for the night?: Yes

Projectors off for the night?: Yes

Projection cart by TH5?: Yes

Nest: TRIVIA NIGHT. Our first week with the video projector. Went great. The microphone had a bit of a struggle getting up to a good volume (we had to crank the volume knob all the way), but it all worked out. Equipment is back up in booth 4/6.

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
