Projection Report 7/20 Open


Presentation Issues: Sword of Trust was not loaded on Theater 3's server before this morning. The playlist hadn't been scheduled for today or tomorrow, and since these are the only showtimes for this film in theater 3 TMS never triggered the ingest of the feature to this projector. I loaded the playlist to start it manually and didn't notice for a while into preshow that the feature was still loading onto the server. For some reason, the playlist for the second round in theater 3 was scheduled though this was supposed to be a manual start. Manual start shows should never be added to the scheduler. If you need to check the end time, just click on the playlist you need to check, hold, and drag it over to see when it should end and then drag it back, don't delete anything. To make sure all content is ready in a playlist that will be manually started, temporarily schedule it for a time when nothing is playing (early morning/late night). Once you know that all content is ready or that it's being loaded, you can delete this.

Unfortunately I did not get to check through the scheduling this far during my last shift on Thursday night because I was preoccupied with the 35mm, so I'm very sorry about that.

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Sent some features and preshow to servers 3 and 6 for when things move around on Thursday.

Special Events/ AV set up: Bill & Ted's 1 in Theater 1, brunch screening. This ran itself without issue as far as I know.

Maintenance/cleaning: Dan is here working on the 35mm projectors in Theater 2. He also fixed the loose roller on projector #2 in theater 1 and tightened the focusing knob on projector #1

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Aside for adjustments for the film starting late for first round in theater 3, no updates needed.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
