Projection Report 7/21 Open

Presentation Issues: None.

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Sent Lion King to Theater 4 for Thursday

Adjusted the volume for some of our house made trailers. Most were too loud but Never Fear was far too quiet. 3.8 tends to be a good volume for these (however they should still be checked once we get them) but in case where the source material is of low quality (such as Never Fear) is needs to be bumped up.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: 35mm show of Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey in Theater 1. Went great! One more thing about the 35mm projectors, though. I noticed both projectors are not aligned completely with the screen when projecting flat 1.85 films. There is some black on the right side of the screen with both machines. This isn't a plate problem, as I filed the plate using white light on screen before the show and there was still a bit of black when projecting the actual film. From what I can recall this is not an issue with scope films, so if it's at all possible to just shift the lens rather than moving the whole projector that would be ideal. Forgive me if this is a simple adjustment--I didn't see anything on these projectors that would allow me to make this kind of lens adjustment, which I've done on other 35mm projectors before.

Print/video Inspection: Got the credit start time for Matrix Reloaded before theater 2 opened, added the lighting cue to the playlist and the start time to the cue sheet.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning:

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): The cues for Sword of Trust had been copied over from yesterday's sheet to today's after I left yesterday evening, which meant the sheet had the film ending at 12:05 rather than 11:55. I walkied Rebecca as soon as I noticed. Daniel (last night's closer) said he didn't make any changes so it must have been copied over by a manager by mistake. Same thing with Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey, it had the same credit times as Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure from yesterday but Bogus Journey is a slightly longer film. I told Gil once I noticed this. Checked the rest of the sheets through Thursday.

Marquee updated?: Took down Bill and Ted brunch screenings from the north side, put up Once Upon a Time in Hollywood

Posters updated?: Up to date

Cleaning lights on for the night?: N/a
