Projection Report 8/28 Admin



Presentation Issues: The CP750 in Theater 3 was set to ProLogic II again instead of Dolby 7.1, which caused the feature (Bernadette) to play with inaudible dialogue. I have no idea how or why it was changed to this setting, but Michael was able to quickly remote in and change it back. The feature started about 10 minutes late, but otherwise there were no issues.

Preshow Clips/Playlist: I started building all the new A1 playlists for this week. Just waiting on the new September trailer and then they'll be finished.

Trailer Updates: Trailer for Ad Astra is ingested and ready to replace It: Chapter Two next Thursday.

Special Events/ AV set up: Blow-Up is playing in Th 1 at 730PM. I set the volume to 6.5 during QC yesterday, but the dialogue is pretty low in the mix. Please keep an eye on it and adjust if necessary.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): A poster arrived for The Current War. I left it in 3/7 for now.

Ordering/Receiving (content): Just received a new TrailMix. No new Star Wars trailer unfortunately.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Woodstock was picked up!

Print/video Inspection: None

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes

Maintenance/cleaning: None

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes, no issues today. I updated it to reflect the ten-minute delay in Th 3 during the first round.

Marquee updated?: No updates. Blow-Up can come down from the north side tonight and be replaced with "Freaks and Geeks: The Documentary"

Posters updated?: No updates

Cleaning lights on for the night?: n/a

Projectors off for the night?: n/a

Projection cart by TH5?: Back in 3/7

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
