Projection Report 8/5 (close)

Presentation Issues: When I first came in, I turned on the breaker switch to the 35mm projector in theater 1 to start threading up the Hollywood print, which triggered the house lights to come on during The Lion King. This was due to my lack of familiarity with the start-up procedure for the 35mm machines, and I apologize. This was my first shift running public Hollywood shows, and I had never turned on the breaker switches myself (during a screening or otherwise) and did not fully understand the connection between the breaker and the cues. Regardless, I am sorry for disrupting the show, and will be more careful in the future.

Preshow Clips/Playlist:

Trailer Updates: none tonight — waiting on new trailer assignments for Friday onwards

Special Events/ AV set up: HOLLYWOOD 35mm screenings. Print ran great both times. That new bottom roller works like a charm.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): neither a poster or trailer, but we received a package from QSC (and a smaller one from Amazon) addressed to Michael. Both have been moved to booth 4/6.

Ordering/Receiving (content): do we have an eta on NEVER FEAR? We don't seem to have feature content for the show on Thursday yet.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): packed up the drive for West Side Story, put it on the outgoing shelf

Print/video Inspection:

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Checked

Maintenance/cleaning: Wiped down the projector and rollers after the 35mm shows. Projector has been powered down. note: I left the program button off to help prevent the cleaning lights being set off again.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Began building out the cue sheets for next week — filled in all start times through Thursday. Checked today's cues, too — all good for the night.
