Projection Report 8/7 Admin



Presentation Issues: When loading A1_Yesterday for the first round today in Theater 5, I got an error message that I've never seen before: "Could not load playlist: Marriage not active." After checking the KDM and restarting the IMS and TMS to no avail, I called Billy, who was luckily still in the building. He came down, logged into the backend of the IMS, and reconnected the "Marriage." When I asked him what could've caused this he said, "Gremlins." For future reference, both Billy and Jerry Kohut's numbers are in the notes app on the iMac in 4/6. Either can assist you in correcting this issue, as they have the account info required to get into the backend of the Christies. As for the show, it started about 30 minutes behind schedule. After discussing with the MODs, I skipped ahead until the playlist was just about 7 minutes behind, leaving enough time for the servers to greet the guests before the feature began. This resulted in a tighter flip before the second round, but no other issues.

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Added PS_NPP_Dolly_Sound_Update_0802 to SE_Whorehouse for tonight.

Trailer Updates: No updates. Remove TLR_NPP_Whorehouse from the packs tonight!

Special Events/ AV set up: Sound check for Doll Parts was at 10AM this morning. They'll be back for a line check around 6PM, which I'll be here for.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Received a poster for Monos as well as the latest TrailMix from Deluxe.

Ordering/Receiving (content): Our DCP of Never Fear is supposed to arrive via messenger from Kino Lorber sometime tonight. Please keep your eyes peeled and ingest this as soon as it arrives! I want to QC it first thing tomorrow.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): None

Print/video Inspection: QC'd The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas for tonight. Everything looked good and sound cues for the preshow and feature have been set.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes. Updated with tracking info for the Woodstock print.

Maintenance/cleaning: None

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes. Cue sheets for today are good. I updated the times for Best Little Whorehouse around noon. They are ready for review tomorrow.

Marquee updated?: Please remove Best Little Whorehouse tonight and replace it with Wet Hot American Summer.

Posters updated?: No updates until The Kitchen arrives (hopefully tomorrow?)

Cleaning lights on for the night?: n/a

Projectors off for the night?: n/a

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
