Projection report 9/17 (close)



Presentation Issues: None

NOTE: I left projectors 1, 6, and 7 on overnight (with lamps off!) because content was still sending out to them at the end of night. Maybe give them a quick reboot in the morning.

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built playlists for Rambo: Last Blood and Toni Morrison — scheduled them for Thursday through Sunday. Also began scheduling first runs for the weekend.

* made a playlist for tomorrow's In Fabric screening and scheduled it. I am not completely sure I got the run of show for this playlist correct (i.e. it does not have any microphone cues, etc, built in), so if somebody could double check it in the morning that would probably be for the best.

** also made a Punk The Capital playlist based on our previous Music Driven screenings, but we don't seem to have the event listed on the trailer doc, so I'm not sure I got this one right either. Feel free to mess around with it.

** made updated '092019' playlists for all first runs (note that due to the trailer changes, I scheduled these playlists for Thursday too)

Trailer Updates: built the '092019' trailer pack (all shows this coming week are Adult)

Special Events/ AV set up: Heathers Film Feast in theater 3. Dylan S. set this show up for the most part. I had a walkie talkie snafu during the intro so the transition into the feature was a little slow (sorry again, everybody), but the film ran great and everyone seemed to have a good time.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): deleted Heathers from server 3

Ordering/Receiving (content): grabbed the Gemini Man and Lucy In The Skies trailers from Trailmix, sent them out to all servers. Also downloaded the "Generic Space" preshow from EVO for Ad Astra. (Still waiting on the Downton preshow to go up before building that playlist)

** received and ingested keys for Toni Morrison, Ad Astra, and Hollywood

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: spot checked In Fabric in theater 1. This movie is loud! I set it at 5.0 — feel free to adjust it if necessary. Should be all good for tomorrow's show.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Checked and updated

Maintenance/cleaning: we have critical lamp alarms on projectors 1 and 6

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): checked for tomorrow — seems to be good

Marquee updated?: up to date

Posters updated?: up to date

Cleaning lights on for the night?: Yes

Projectors off for the night?: Yes

Projection cart by TH5?: Yes

Nest: Video DJ/Trivia after party for Heathers. We ran videos from a laptop and John hosted trivia with a mic. No issues. Gear has been returned to booth 4/6.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
