Projection report 9/30 Admin

Presentation Issues: Had lights up at the start of the Downton Abbey feature in the all ages screening. Turned them down right away. See below for additional info.

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Kris mentioned he updated the 10 minute Joker preshow file in EVO, though at the time of this writing it hadn't appeared. Might still be uploading so keep an eye out?

Trailer Updates: Regarding trailer packs, all ages screenings are no longer "lights up" through trailers, as per Matthew today. Changed "house lights mid" cue to "house lights down" in all ages trailer pack at the beginning of first run trailers.

*Just to confirm - for all ages screenings, we still use adult trailers for adult movies and all ages trailers for all ages movies, correct? That's how this week is currently set up. If that's not the case, Dylan would you please update the trailer packs for tomorrow?

Ordering/Receiving (content): Started downloading Blood and Flesh for Brooklyn Horror, straight to the external drive. Another big whopping file, should take all day to download. Keep an eye out for this one - looks like we had some downloads fail last week due to network drop outs.

*We got 35mm this weekend! John informed me today that Witches of Eastwick is a print, not a DCP as advertised. Should be arriving tomorrow.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Packed up the two Peanuts movies and left them with the outgoing UPS drives. I'll show Karen where to take these tomorrow, also will show her how to deal with Fedex stuff. Dragged Night of the Comet downstairs, will set up pickup tomorrow. Asked cinema dept. for shipping info for The Crow and Olivia.

Print/video Inspection: no new content today.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Updated internal events through the end of October from what's on the distro doc and the events calendar. Lots coming up this month...

Maintenance/cleaning: Looks like the lamp got changed in theater 6 over the weekend. Thank you DMS! I will ask them to hold off on any other lamp changes for the moment...

*Bar amp has kicked the bucket. All red lights were lit and the internal fan wasn't running (signs of a blown amp). It's really old and dirty, so I'm not surprised. We don't have a direct replacement in house so will need to purchase a new one. From now on I think we should keep whatever amp we put in that rack off when not in use, so the fans aren't running 24/7. It's pretty hot and dusty under that bench.

*As a stopgap solution, we can patch into the house system thusly:

• Pull out bench from the wall, find white ethernet labeled "From Mixer" and plug it into the ethernet patch panel further up the wall, into socket "DJ2." 
• Turn down all inputs on the mixer! The two output knobs should be most of the way up.
• Switch bar audio panel to "Source 11."
• Set input levels.
• Switch it back to "Source 7" when the event is over.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes, today and tomorrow look good. Bumped Akira up by 3 minutes to reflect longer preshow, so house dark happens at advertised time.

Marquee updated?: Dylan, can you please add Witches of Eastwick 35mm to the north side this evening?

Additional Notes: Please keep Bell Book and Candle on the TMS for the time being, we may do a staff screening at some point due to popular demand. Akira as well.
