Projection report 10/21 Close



Presentation Issues: None

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the Jojo Rabbit playlist, began sending out content and scheduling for Thursday (see Matthew's updated schedule). In order to not clog up TMS, I only scheduled Jojo for theater 1 — we can schedule the other shows and send out feature content tomorrow.

* built 102419 playlists for our adult shows, scheduled them for Thursday

** updated the scheduler for Thursday with the updated playlists based on the new schedule that includes Lighthouse

Trailer Updates: Built the 102419 Adult trailer pack

Special Events/ AV set up: Blood & Flesh via Brooklyn Horror Fest. Karen stuck around and showed me the festival show flow, and walked me through the set-up with the mini mixer in theater 3 (we also added two more microphones to accommodate extra guests). BHFF decided right before show time to do the q&a with no chairs instead of the 5 we almost used. Q&A was recorded to camera and uploaded to EVO. Gear has been tucked away under the screen in theater 3 for tomorrow's show (Camera and tripod are in booth 3/7).

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Received Beetlejuice, ingested it to TMS

* Received and ingested keys for Jojo Rabbit.

** Ingested the Jojo and Parasite 5.1 preshow files to TMS, and then sent them out to projectors.

*** put in an order with Eclair for The Lighthouse, which we are now opening Thursday alongside Jojo

**** grabbed the Ford v. Ferrari trailer from Trailmix, sent it to TMS and added it to the new trailer pack

Additional Notes: The BHFF staff asked permission to keep some of their things (step & repeat, merch, etc) at the theater instead of carting it back and forth this week. Their things have been stored in booth 3/7 (step & repeat against the wall, the rest of it stacked up near where the projection cart lives).

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
