Projection Report 10/24 Admin


Presentation Issues: The source file for the scope screen file in Theater 2 had been accidentally switched to 1.19:1, making Parasite look very awkward. Natasha radio'd me when a customer mentioned it and Michael showed me what went wrong.

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the Night Gallery playlist and completed the Beetlejuice playlist.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Halloween DCP arrived and has been ingested to TMS. Michael also brought over a drive with the content for NSF closing night, I copied everything to the "poopoopants" drive.

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Teched all three parts of The Lighthouse preshow. Looking good.

-Teched Night Gallery in Theater 3, it is all set with masking and the 1.37 screen file.

-Teched the All Ages Halloween preshow, it looks good except for a few of the clips which appear to have dropped frames. My guess is that it's something to do with the conversion of a lower grade video file to DCP, but I wrote to Kris about it.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Updated for Night Gallery tech info

Maintenance/cleaning: Set 1.37 screen file and masking in theater 7 for The Lighthouse staff screening tomorrow.

-Checked alignment for flat ratios 1.85, 1.78, and 1.37 and scope in every house. Made some slight adjustments where necessary. The only house without the curtain for 1.37 masking is 5.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Checked over cue sheet and scheduler for today. No problems.

Marquee updated?: Moved Jojo Rabbit and The Lighthouse over to the front and added Beetlejuice to the north side.

Posters updated?: Put "now showing" snipes above Jojo Rabbit and The Lighthouse

Cleaning lights on for the night?: N/a

Projectors off for the night?: N/a

Projection cart by TH5?: N/a

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
