Projection Report 10/26 Open


Presentation Issues: No presentation issues. The scope macro on the Christie in Theater 2 is completely back to normal.

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Decided to schedule the Halloween playlist three minutes early rather than having to skip ahead when it starts. We should still skip ahead manually for Night Gallery on Monday 10/28 since the show follows a short flip.

Trailer Updates: I made new trailer packs for when trailer assignments change this week. I also made updated playlists for first runs, with the naming "B1" for the trailer change on Tuesday 10/29 (removing the Vincent Price trailer) and "C1" for the change on Weds. 10/30 (removing NOTLD and adding Uncut Gems). These new playlists have been scheduled.

Special Events/ AV set up: None

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): We have another drive for Night of the Living Dead coming from Janus Films which is set to arrive on Monday. I expect we will not be using this, however, since we already have the subtitled version for LSC.

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Checked the Uncut Gems trailer for volume.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Updated the Night of the Living Dead event memo.

Maintenance/cleaning:

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Cue sheets and scheduler are checked and confirmed for the rest of the week. Barring any more theater swaps the only thing that may change is the timing for Night of the Living Dead on Wednesday as the event memo gets filled in.

Posters updated?: Up to date

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
