Projection Report 10/9 Admin/Open



Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: I think we finally have all of our new preshow elements off EVO. It took 3 restarts from me over the past two days. As I am leaving all the files look to be there and I left it to Alec to ingest and check on screen.

Updated Over the Edge Playlist with new cues (see below).
Updated Wizard of Oz playlist with new cues.
Made a playlist for Gemini Man with lighting and volume cues, it just needs the preshow and updated October card dropped in.

Trailer Updates: Swapped out Jumanji for Addams Family in the Wizard of Oz playlist

Special Events/ AV set up: I set up the lighting board and the mini mixer with three mics in TH 1 for tonight's Over the Edge Q&A. Tested the standard lighting wash and optimized gain levels on all mics. You can just use the individual mic volume knobs to fine tune to the varying voice levels.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Received and ingested keys for: Wizard of Oz, Addams Family and The Craft.

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Inspected Over the Edge. The volume, at a minimum, should be set to 9.5. It's still a little quiet. Also, the keystoning was especially noticeable given the format is flat so I thought that pulling in the masking to 1.77 and taping the port window as such actually makes for a better overall framed image and you don't get the vignette-ing in the top corners as much. I automated the playlist with these cues and advised Alec should he want to make a change.

I inspected Gemini Man. It looks fantastically horrible (Magi high frame rate hurts my eyes, personally). Vol 5.5, and lighting cues updated.

I inspected Wizard of Oz. I kept the volume at 4.5 to take the edge off the higher register. It looks great and the 1.33 masking preset, and 1.37 lens setting worked perfectly

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
