NPP Projection Report 11/10 Close, Alec


Presentation Issues: No issues.

Preshow Clips/Playlist: The splice in the credits on the Marriage Story print removes about 7 seconds from the very end of the closing credits, within the final crawl. It is of course a noticeable jump cut, but as far as timing goes does not make much of a difference. I shortened the black slug in front of the DCP feature on the 35mm playlist to 1 minute so the lighting cues will not be as far behind the end of the print.

Ordering/Receiving (content): We have two drives scheduled to arrive tomorrow: Ford v. Ferrari and All That Heaven Allows. Just putting this out here since we are open early tomorrow and do not have the regular admin schedule.

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Teched NeverEnding Story and Everybody's Everything. NeverEnding Story is all set. Everybody's Everything is good too, however this feature is 1.78 and the masking in 3 is set to 1.33 for The Lighthouse, which screens in theater 3 tomorrow. On Tuesday it's just Parasite in there so I'm adding the 1.78 masking cue to the playlist, it will need to be reprogrammed the day of.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Updated for NeverEnding Story and Everybody's Everything.

Maintenance/cleaning: I am shutting down TMS overnight.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Checked for tomorrow, no issues. Updated credit times for NeverEnding Story and Everybody's Everything.

Marquee updated?: Took down The Trouble with Harry and put up Everybody's Everything on the north side.

Posters updated?: Up to date

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
