NPP Projection Report 11/24 Close, Alec


Presentation Issues: Towards the end of the 4:00 Ford v. Ferrari in theater 7 a customer complained that the dialogue sounded very muffled. After listening in the theater I paused the movie and restarted the CP750 and the 3 QSCs but this did not fix the problem. After talking with Michael the only other troubleshooting option was rebooting the server, which takes 10 minutes. After talking with the MODs we ended up letting the movie finish rather than stop it again. Between rounds I rebooted the server and the center speaker was still muffled, so Michael remoted in and rerouted the center audio to the left speaker, which made the dialogue come through clearly (of course at the expense of the left audio sounding clear, but MODs and I decided it was OK for the next two rounds). I played the next two features at a slightly lower volume to account for the channel change as well. Michael said he would take a look at the center speaker in 7 tomorrow morning.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
