Presentation Issues: No issues

Preshow Clips/Playlist: I decided that any time we switch the projector lens channel during a show that we should close the dowser on the projector, as the change of lens file is visible especially for scope. In the playlist program a dowser CLOSE cue at the beginning of the usual black slug for masking and lens changes. We've never set a standard for this, but the slug on the Queen & Slim playlist is 8 seconds which I think is a good length. Going forward whenever we are building a playlist for a feature with an aspect ratio other than 1.85, let's make the black slug for lens cues 8 seconds. Program the lens change 1 second after the dowser cue, and put a dowser OPEN cue 2 seconds from the end of the black slug. I've updated all current playlists.

-Scheduled Knives Out and Queen & Slim through Thursday 12/5 and updated cues.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up:

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Since we are pretty good on storage on the individual houses I tried ingesting Celebration directly to T3's server to tech it, but it failed twice with an error that the file size was incorrect. I then tried ingesting to TMS and it failed again. Inspecting the contents of the DCP it appears that it is missing something, the total size of the contents is about 5.5GB while the zip file says it is 48.44GB. The video portion of the DCP appears to be the full feature when I play it in VLC but it will not play through. I am downloading the elements again individually and according to the download progress they should be the correct size. Erin, can you ingest this to T3 when the download is finished and let us know in your blog how it goes?

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Walking our old drives to the UPS store on my way out.

Print/video Inspection:

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Adjusted the convergence on the Christie in Theater 1.

-When checking alignment and speakers in houses, I noticed the right rear surround speaker in T4 sounds very tinny in comparison to the left rear surround which sounds much more robust. There is a similar situation in T6, except the right rear surround sounds like the bass is too high.

-I tried again with the masking in theater 3. At some point the fourth preset, which should be where the curtain is as far in as it can safely go, was overwritten which is what stopped us from being able to mask past 1.78. By the time I figured this out I only had time to make sure the 1.85 and scope presets were correct before the theater opened, but tomorrow I should be able to get 1.33 masking back fairly quickly.

-Took out a couple platter rollers in booth 1 to clean them. They are on the rewind bench for the night.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Checked for today and printed three copies.

Additional Notes: Ingested new keys for Parasite. We still need new keys for Lighthouse, however. Eclair sent new ones but they don't work for the file we are showing. Karen put in a request with Deluxe; Erin, please ingest these if they come in tonight.
