Projection Report 11/6 Admin



Presentation Issues: 
Right as we opened House 7 went completely offline. I crawled up to the actual projector disconnected power, rebooted, checked the marriage, came down to the server rack and rebooted VNS and was able to get it back online with 10 minutes to go until the first showtime.

Preshow Clips/Playlist: 
Updated Marriage Story 35MM playlist. Alec, can you see if you get a brief flash of white light on screen just before the changeover is triggered and the lamp shuts off? Dylan said he thought he saw it and I was focused on the sound processor at that moment.

- Neverending Story DCP came in; it has been ingested. The keys are due to be delivered by 8 am on 11/7, they go live at 8 am on 11/10. I will keep an eye out for them to be delivered. Either Erin or Alec, can you please tech this on Sunday?
- We got new keys for The Lighthouse and Parasite. We are all good to go with keys for the week. EXCEPT for The Trouble with Harry. It isn't even pending in Deluxe, Alec, could you check on these.
- The Irishman DCP came in; it has been ingested. The keys are also ingested but do not go live until 8 am on Friday (the first day of screening) I will tech it then.
- Got a new trailmix as well.
-All Irishman pre-show content and the new NovB card is being downloaded from EVO. It will not be finished during my shift. Alec, if it completes at some point tonight, can you tech the elements and make an Irishman playlist? If not, I'll do it tomorrow after the NSF2019 tech.
-I was able to pull a solid file of The Dishwasher from the filemail download link Michael sent me. The NSF playlist is built and ready to go. Alec, could you toss these shorts up on the screen only long enough to make sure they play at all? If there is a problem, can you text me so I can let the Cinema Dept know BEFORE they come out tomorrow morning? (This is more important than the Irishman playlist and teching, if you only have time for one, I know you have Marriage Story AND Slayer to deal with tonight)
- Placed an order for "Everybody's Everything" with Eclair.

Print/video Inspection: 
- Staff screening of Marriage Story went well. We played a bit with the lens and filing the plate and focusing the lamp itself. There is still an ever so slight vignette on the outer corners but overall Alec, Dylan, and I agreed that the print looks great. We decided to up to volume on the CP500 processor to 8.0 volume on the digital processor (750) still stays at 6.5

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
