Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Finalized It's a Wonderful Life for brunches this weekend. I added 10 minutes of generic preshow to the beginning to give it an even 40 minutes before the feature starts, just for continuity.

* I made a scope version of "Hey Kids" PSA, and dropped it into the all ages playlists. I removed all redundant scope lens/masking cues from every playlist with a scope feature.

** Made trailer packs for 12/25 (scope/flat, adults/all ages). Will need to tech those for volume cues at some point.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Set 1.33 masking in theater 3 for brunch shows this weekend.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Ingested Little Women to TMS. Began copying LW preshow files to the external drive from EVO. We appear to have everything else we need for the next two weeks.

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Checked IaWL in TH3. Looks great, 1.33 with mono soundtrack.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: yes

Maintenance/cleaning: Started cleaning out projector 2 in theater 6.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Checked cue sheets for today through Sunday. Had a few booboos here and there, but everything looks good now. Bombshell playlist is also a few minutes longer than the cue sheets had it, so I went through the sheets through Tuesday and adjusted end times to compensate.

* Started cue sheets for 12/28-1/2, added titles and showtimes.

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. SE screenings went smoothly. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state.
