Projection Report 12/18 Close, Erin



Presentation Issues: For the last round in theater 6, which was a manual start, I accidentally chose the 12/20 Jumanji playlist rather than 12/12. This was a good thing, because at one point during the trailers the screen just went black & I discovered in the All Ages 122019 Scope trailer pack there was a cue (actually 2 cues) for the dowser to close for a lens change, and then rather than a dowser open cue, it was another close dowser cue. Quick fix, & is now fixed in that trailer pack.

-During the second round in theater 5, there was a manual start for Ford v. Ferrari, but I accidentally started Frozen 2 instead. Didn't get noticed until the feature started, and then it took me a few minutes to load the correct movie.

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the Bombshell playlist w/ the 122019 preshow.
- Scheduled Friday 12/20.
- Updated the Adult & All Ages SCOPE trailer pack (122019) with Scope Portal Feature and Scope STFU slide.
- Added STB_Jan to Queen & Slim, Knives Out, & Parasite 122019 playlists.
- Went through the other trailer packs to make sure there were no other mistaken dowser close cues, I only found 1 in the 121919 All Ages pack, which is now fixed.

Print/video Inspection: Teched the Bombshell preshows & feature, added volume & lights cues to the playlist. Also looked the Mulan trailer, 4.5 volume is good.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Checked cue sheets for tomorrow. Began building cue sheets for Monday & Tuesday, but ran out of time to completely finish- I'll keep working on these tomorrow.

Marquee updated?: After it stopped snowing I went outside to try and change the marquee, but it was so wet I couldn't pull anything down. Michael, could you update it in the morning? Thank you!!

Posters updated?: Changed the Coming Soon slugs to Now Showing above Bombshell and Star Wars.

Cleaning lights on for the night?: Yes

Projectors off for the night?: Yes

Projection cart by TH5?: Yes

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
