NPP Projection Report Thursday 1/23 CLOSE Chris



Presentation Issues:
-None per se, but TMS crashed around 11:30pm, attempts to reboot via web-based control panel failed, unaware of hard reset procedure. This unfortunately prevented me from teching Honeyland, but the "Valentines" trailer was already loaded up in T7 so I was at least able to run that.

Preshow Clips/Playlist:
-Honeyland can be found under the playlist SE_HONEYLAND_012820, totally built out and awaiting feature teching.

Trailer Updates:
-Pulled TLR_NPP_VALENTINES off of EVO and into TMS, inserted it into all trailer packs and cleaned up any preshows that ran significantly over 40mins as a result.

Special Events/ AV set up:N/A

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):N/A

Ordering/Receiving (content):
-Brought Honeyland in from Eclair.

Outgoing/Shipping (content):
-Frozen 2 has left the building.

Print/video Inspection:
-Tech'd "Valentines" trailer, looks and sounds fine at preshow settings.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes added what I could for Honeyland.

Maintenance/cleaning: N/A

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift):
-Scheduled thru Thursday 1/30 in TMS, save for unbuilt SPLs, Shining, For Sama, Edge of Democracy.

Marquee updated?:
-Frozen 2  came down

-The Gentlemen went up.

Posters updated?:
-The Gentlemen moved to the 15th st Now Playing block.

-Birds of Prey moved back out to the 14th st poster block

-Portrait of a Lady on Fire made it's way into the vestibule.

-Frozen 2 poster came in, it's in rough shape after all that time outside but I wasn't sure if we'd archived one yet so I slotted it into a blank poster space.

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
