Projection Report 1/8 Close, Erin



Presentation Issues: The only presentation issue was at the very beginning of Little Women on 35mm. Karen and I were discussing a superfluous call from theater 7 to adjust the sound and we missed the end of the trailers, so the film started a minute late. Otherwise, no issues tonight.

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the 1917 playlist, and deleted Citizen Kane.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Citizen Kane looked beautiful, no problems.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Downloaded 1917 preshows and the updated Jan_B card from EVO.

**We have not yet received the keys for Just Mercy.

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: QC'd 1917 and preshow. Volume and light cues are set.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Updated for 1917.

Maintenance/cleaning: Updated the whiteboard in 4/6.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Checked for tomorrow, looks good. I filled in movie titles for the rest of next week (1/10-1/16), but did not get much further than that.

Marquee updated?: Chris took down Citizen Kane from the 14th st. side and put up Matilda brunch show.

Posters updated?: Up to date.

Cleaning lights on for the night?: yes

Projectors off for the night?: yes

Projection cart by TH5?: yes

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. SE screenings went smoothly. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state.
