Hate to leave this section so bare, but I don't have much in the way of tasks for tonight other than the usual walkthrough and maintenance.

Presentation Issues: None

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Based on what Chris noted last night and experimenting with it today, I don't think we should play the preshow at any level lower than 3.5. I turned down the preshow for the third round in TH2 and listened as the theater started filling up, and the preshow was pretty drowned out before the theater was half full.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Sonic birthday party in TH6 ran entirely on automation without a problem.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content):

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Cleared some outdated trailers off the servers as well as the Color Out of Space preshow.

Print/video Inspection:

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Took out the trash bin from booth 2. Wasn't sure about the stuff Steve left in the cardboard box, can these just be put in the dumpster?

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Checked cues and schedule for the rest of the week.

Additional Notes: Learned something new about the TMS, which is that when scheduling playlists, the TMS will push all the content to the respective IMS automatically if/when the scheduled start time is within 72 hours.

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state.
