Print/video Inspection:
-Inspected the first two reels of The Secret Garden. Seemingly an ideal print for a first-timer's inspection in that the first reel was a total softball, excellent condition with clear cues and absolutely stunning when viewed close up (although there is a trailer for the 1993 Nutcracker movie firmly spliced onto the print). The second reel followed suit until the last 2 1/2 minutes or so when a cluster of splices showed up, in particular a nasty diagonal one that hinged pretty easily. I taped over it on both sides, sorry if my taping protocol if amiss. The cues on reel 2 are also not ideal, black lab cigarette burns over a very dark scene, with the C/O cue being placed in a pitch-black corner of the frame. Both reels have been left on metal reels, heads up. Needless to say, I had an absolute ball trawling over the first 40 mins of this movie. That I get paid to do this is unreal to me.

-Tech'd Premature volume set for 4.5, held off on the full lighting cue til crawl since we're only running this once. Mid and Up occur as they would for first run.

Maintenance/cleaning:
-Pretty absorbed in slowly inspecting SG and checking masking so not much else was done, took the trash out of booth 4/6.

-Speaking of which masking is nice and quiet, tho I only observed the switch between trailers and feature in T4. Bleed remains, could just be my imagination but I think 4 is beginning its steady descent into unacceptable territory again.

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state.
