NPP Projection Blog OPEN 2/15
To do this evening/ was completed:
1) Keep a lookout for Back to the Future keys, if they don't arrive, please note in blog so I can tackle this first thing in the am.
2) Tech Back to the Future (if keys come in)
*When I came in this morning, I was unable to edit existing or create new playlists or playlist packs in the TMS webUI. Whenever I tried saving anything, I got "error fetching http headers". I tried re-booting everything, which did nothing and so I opened the terminal logs to see what was happening with the API when I was trying to save and got nothing definitive. I called Dolby, let them remote into the projection mac, they also couldn't diagnose the problem looking at the logs but also supposed that the soapAPI was failing. I asked them to update our TMS software, which they did. That seems to have fixed it. Everything seems to be working normally.
**With the update, you will notice that some things look different in the web UI now. There are clip specific time stamps on cues, for example.
***I wonder if this will also solve our random "changes not saving to playlists" problem we were experiencing before. The Dolby support agent told me that we were a couple versions behind.
Presentation Issues:
TH2 auto-loaded the playlist and then got stuck on pause again during the first round.
Preshow Clips/Playlist:
-Most of our lights down trailer packs didn't call for any volume change during trailers, I went ahead and made some changes.
