OPEN 2/23

To do this evening/ was completed:
-Tech The Hunger
-scheduled IMS deletions

Presentation Issues:
There were no issues.

Preshow Clips/Playlist:
-built a playlist for "The Hunger" and scheduled it in TH1 for tomorrow's screening. It just needs lighting cues and a volume/credits check. The preshow is +1 min. Instead of making a special trailer pack just for this one-off screening, I left it. It is showing in the last round, starting 1 min late shouldn't cause problems.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up:

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content):
-'Come to Daddy' needs distributor confirmation that we are to download from Eclair. My 2/19 order is still pending. Emailed Eclair and JJ to confirm. I will follow up tomorrow during admin.
-placed an order for 'Premature' from Eclair

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection:
-moved 'The Hunger' to TH4 for inspection. Since it was the last theater open this morning, I thought I might have time to tech it, but it didn't transfer fast enough. It's in TH6, first theater out tonight, and also in TH1 (where it is due to screen) if you want to take a quick look at it on the big screen.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:
yes, added booked and "will book" April first runs. Also, the 3/17 screening of "Leprechaun" (bluray to housemade DCP)

Maintenance/cleaning:
-Started downloading most of the generic pre-shows (action/all ages v3/v8/representation/romance/midnite) from EVO onto the projection mac server so they can live there and we can only have what we are currently using on TMS for the cinema week. Pulling them from the mac server should be quick and easy on a weekly basis. There are still more to grab, I figured that was enough to start. I would like to do the same with some transitionals that aren't used often. I also deleted all generic shows that we aren't currently using from the TMS. If they are still downloading at the end of the night, please don't shut down TMS tonight.

-Made an ILS adjustment on the Flat lens file for TH2. I noticed it was bleeding a bit to the left, opened the ILS and saw x had moved (?) to 472 from 491 (where Alec had set it 3 days ago) I set it back to 491. It's in the doc.

-Also noticed that someone remotely or some automated thing changed the ILS flat lens file in TH6 today, (I did not make any changes in this house today), sent a screenshot of the pop-up message to ML

-Did a sweep of and collected dirty dishes/cups from 3/7 and 4/6

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift):
-checked for today and Monday.

Marquee updated?:
-No changes needed today.

Posters updated?:
- I noticed an unmarked tube in 3/7 (apart from the archival tube) with posters for the following titles: Mulan, Call of the Wild, Promising Young Woman, and Onward. I am assuming this is for or at least procured by a projection team member for either themselves or another staff member.
This is absolutely fine, however, there are two points I want to make:
1) we should have 2 copies of posters for movies we are showing or are going to show, one for display and one for back-up/archival, because the displayed one gets trashed outside. For this reason, I took out PYW and Onward from the tube and put them back into our poster sorter. I left Mulan and Call of the Wild in the unmarked tube since we have more than 3 copies of each of these. If someone wants a poster and we don't have enough to spare, come talk to me, between here and NWB we can usually find/reserve one, although you might have to wait until the end of the run.
2) put your name on it! or someone's name/some kind of label so I know what I am holding aside.

Cleaning lights on for the night?:

Projectors off for the night?:

Projection cart by TH5?:

Additional Notes:
-Thank you to everyone who listened and watched preshows over the weekend. I agree that this is dicey and ultimately, there's no real answer outside of mixing it differently. There are parts that are too soft even at 3.5 While I was making the rounds today, with everything playing at 3.5,  I noticed times, mostly during spoken dialogue, where it was almost too quiet and then also times when it was too loud. I'm fine with leaving it as is, ultimately it's a service issue, if Mascha wants to weigh in, we don't get too many customer complaints that the preshow is too loud.
