To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues:
-This razorblade of curtain bleed on the screen left side is definitely pervasive throughout the building but is so slight that it's not really a problem for the time being, and could probably be fixed by just drawing the curve of the curtain fabric more snuggly against the chain within. Should be addressed but will not significantly affect presentation. Seems ever so slightly more prominent when the screen is running scope.

Preshow Clips/Playlist:
-Built out Brokeback Mountain, cues and all.

Trailer Updates:N/A

Special Events/ AV set up:
-None today and It doesn't appear that we'll be having Karaoke this Monday but since I am usually the one here on those nights if someone could give me a quick run down of my responsibilities for it (beyond the set up detailed in a doc on the iMac) that'd be swell.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):N/A

Ordering/Receiving (content):N/A

Outgoing/Shipping (content):
-Deleted Little Women and its preshow from all servers and packed up its CRU drive. Sad to see it go.

-Likewise for Jojo Rabbit, tho with a good bit less sorrow.

-Took Come to Daddy  off of T1, remains on TMS and T7 for the staff screening tomorrow.

Print/video Inspection:
-Tech'd Brokeback Mountain, looks great, sounds a bit raggedy whenever the mix gets crowded with a lot of different sounds at any volume setting on the CP750 but I believe that was a creative decision. Set volume for 5.5.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:
-Nothing new to add.

Maintenance/cleaning:
-Got kinda bogged down in the last three hours or so when I had planned to do some threading I'll run some stuff in T4 tomorrow. Did some dusting for T4.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift):
-Scheduled friday which of course meant I checked it as well, all set.

-Added all times for Emma and Brokeback Mountain.

Marquee updated?:
-Down came Jojo and Tiny Ladies, up went Catvids and Emma.

 -Brought down Come to Daddy and put up an ad for Trivia this Tuesday on the 14th st side.

Posters updated?:
-Same as marquee but with Onward moving outside and Once Were Brothers making it's way into the vestibule.

-Wasn't sure if there were copies of the LW and JJR posters in our archive so I put the ones from outside together in one slot with Sonic. LW is in not great shape but isn't destroyed either and I think we'd still be better off giving it (and other posters that lived outside without being totally wrecked) away at trivia than just tossing it out.

Cleaning lights on for the night?:Yes

Additional Notes:
-Could we get a 5.3 volume macro/cue? So many of ours films end up at 5 or 5.5 and it would be nice to be able to split the difference sometimes for precision's sake.

I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state.
