To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues:
-Slightest razor-edge of bled on the screen left curtian in T6 while teching the Scope Come to Daddy. Any slight alignment adjustment using the alignment control panel just resulted in bleed on the other side so I'm guessing this is another little masking error left over from today. Ut's only really visible if you're sitting right of center.

Preshow Clips/Playlist:
-Built out Emma once the Preshow content came in from EVO. Bit of a struggle there, the problems Alec and Karen had with it this AM persisted but after a little finagling with TMS the 10 and 20 count segments ingested just fine while the 40 refused to ingest, with the same old mismatched file size error. I checked the info section for both files and the EVO file size matched up with the Projection Mac file so not sure what went wrong there. Tried the ol' fashioned way and attempted to copy straight from EVO to DCP II, sat thru the progress bar but when I went to ingest from DCP II the 40 count bore a differently formatted file name devoid of underscores and failed to ingest, same error code. I've subbed in the generic romance 40, followed by the Emma-specific content so we have something to roll with if this problem persists.

-Didn't add the Achmed trailer to the SPLs, I'll handle it tomorrow

-There was a chain of communication in place on the KDM email so I reached out to Eclair and was promptly given Come to Daddy keys.

Outgoing/Shipping (content):
-Didn't get those CRU drives out the door in time, I'll do it tomorrow.

Print/video Inspection:
-Tech'd Come to Daddy, set volume at 4.2 which is actually still pretty loud but we're only running it once to a dedicated crowd that sought it out so I think it should be fine.

 -Tech'd Prince Achmed trailer, looks and sounds fine.

-Tech'd our Emma PS segments 20 and 10, looks and sounds fine at the usual preshow settings save a music video that takes up most of the 10 count segment which seemed a little to loud for servers to effectively communicate with guests in T6.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:
-Added tech info for Come to Daddy.

Maintenance/cleaning:
-Came in a bit early and Alec showed me how to swap lenses on the 35s in 1 4 and 6, gate removal for 4 and 6 as well as basic DCP alignment. Thanks Alec!

-Tomorrow looks good.

I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state.
