NPP Projection Report 5/22


To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues: None.

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Scheduled preshow for the private event in T6 on Wednesday 5/26.

-Since we updated the Adult trailer pack for A Quiet Place opening early on Thursday, there's no need to build new playlists for Adult features for next week, we can just go ahead and schedule the ones labeled 052721. We'll need new playlists for All Ages features though.

Trailer Updates: Built a new All Ages trailer pack for next week (labeled 052821). Please use this one for next week's Scoob/Dream Horse/Cruella playlists.

Special Events/ AV set up: On the T6 rack, I switched the Multi-Ch Analog input on the CP750 from the 35mm processor to the blu-ray player so we'll have surround sound for the event on Wednesday. I'll leave it this way for the time being as we're likely to have more blu-ray events in here before showing any prints.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Drives for A Quiet Place II and Cruella should be here by end of day on Tuesday. Tracking info is in the Asset Tracking doc. Please ingest them once they arrive and build/schedule the playlist for A Quiet Place for it's early open on Thursday and add credit start/end times to the cue sheets.

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Checked the Jurassic Park blu-ray for Wednesday's event. Volume level, credit timecode, and runtime are written down with the blu-ray on the desk in 4/6.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
