NPP Projection Report Friday 6/4



To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues: The playlist packs which go at the beginning and end of all playlists somehow got deleted from Theater 4's server, which led to missed cues at the start of the first preshow and the end of the movie. I manually fired all the missed cues and reloaded these packs in the server.

Since all movies in Theater 1 are scope, the curtains will just stay open for this week.

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Build the playlist for In the Heights and scheduled it for Thursday.

Special Events/ AV set up:

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Peter Rabbit 2 poster came in

Ordering/Receiving (content): Drives for In the Heights, Peter Rabbit 2, and The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard arrived. I ingested all three,

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Someone from Alpine Cinema was supposed to pick up our Conjuring drive today but never showed. I ended up leaving the drive with Nick at the bar after they'd still not shown an hour after they were supposed to, and he mistakenly handed it off to Fedex. Not sure what will happen with that since it has a UPS label, guessing they'll just bring it back here, but in any case Deluxe should be sending us a replacement drive.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Updated timing for In the Heights shows on Thursday

Marquee updated?: Updated the front of the marquee with new titles.

Posters updated?: Moved Conjuring outside and switch the snipe for that and Spirit Untamed to now showing. Zola is now hanging in the lobby.

Cleaning lights on for the night?: Yes

Projectors off for the night?: Yes

Projection cart by TH5?: Leaving in 3/7 since it's the weekend.

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
