NPP Projection Report Tuesday 6/15

To do this evening/ was completed: Jerry from DMS was in today and addressed the issues we've been having.

The flat channel is temporarily fixed in 1, although it's likely we're going to need a new ILS board. For now he adjusted the flat channel so that the lens stays in the scope position with the image zoomed and cropped for 1.85. It's not a perfect solution but will certainly do until the board can be replaced.

He fixed the masking automation issue in theater 1. For some reason the GPO trigger for the scope cue was not working, so he switched it to a different output and it works now. For reference the stop on the motor hasn't changed, it's still the #1 button, he just changed the automation trigger behind the rack.

He determined the lighting issue in Theater 2 was something to do with the wiring in the ceiling, so we'll need to have an electrician in. For now I've adjusted the settings so the center lights remain off, with both the sconces and overhang lights at 100% for preshow and at 10% for credits. Please don't change them.

When he comes in with the new ILS board for Theater 1 he'll bring the piece to fix the A/C interlock in Theater 2's projector. For the time being I'll keep an eye on it and retape it if necessary.

He also showed me the web controls for the lights in 4 and 6, and showed me how to adjust the light settings for 3, 5, and 7, which is done on the wall mounted panels in the booth, there are no web controls for these houses. I'll make some adjustments to the preshow settings tomorrow before opening. However there are only two dimmer options in 3, 5, and 7 I believe, so I may have to make preshow and credit lighting the same in those houses.

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Swapped all the playlists in theater 1, since the masking issue is fixed and we no longer need to have the curtains open all the time.
