NPP Projection Report Tuesday 6/22


To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues: We've been having the occasional issue with the lights down cue not firing in theater 7. I will bring this up with DMS when they come in to fix the ILS in Theater 1. For now let's keep an eye on this at the start of every feature in this house. Best to check from the booth so we can bring the lights down right away if the cue doesn't work. You'll know if it did by the wall mounted panel on the wall behind the rack in 3/7. When house lights go down, the green lights by "Channel 1" and "Channel 2" on the panel will turn off.

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built new first run show playlists for next week, scheduled everything for next week except for Zola and Summer of Soul shows.

Trailer Updates: Built new trailer packs for next week.

Special Events/ AV set up:

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordered posters for Werewolves Within

Ordering/Receiving (content): Ingested Werewolves Within from Eclair.

Placed a request for Zola on Eclair as well.

Ingested KDMs for Werewolves Within. Keys for F9 should be getting delivered tonight at midnight. William please ingest these tomorrow when you get in.

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection:

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes.

Maintenance/cleaning: I raised the preshow lights setting in Theater 3. Based on feedback from servers during the first round it seems bright enough.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Built cues sheets for next week. The only things missing are the credits timing for Zola and Summer of Soul 

Marquee updated?: Spirit Untamed hadn't been removed from the front of the marquee yet so I took it down.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
