NPP Projection Report Wed 8/4



To do this evening/ was completed: F9 and In the Heights posters can come down later on in the evening.

Second round F9 in Theater 6 is a manual start.

Keep an eye on the lights down cues in Theater 7.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Scheduled Annette shows for the coming week.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Set up and teched mics and music in Theater 5 for tomorrow's event. I went over the setup and run of show with William, who will be on site to run the event tomorrow night. I also built a playlist with the preshow, short film, and necessary cues for switching sound to the mics after the film ends and went over it with William. Everything is good to go for the event!

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Keys are in for The Suicide Squad, only keys we don't have yet are Annette which should be coming tonight.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): There are a few drives ready to be picked up if UPS comes by.

Print/video Inspection: Teched Benching (for a private event on 8/26) with the host. No issues and the feature is good to go.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes, added everything from the event calendar.

Maintenance/cleaning: Cleaned the 35mm projectors in Theater 4, which only leaves the ones in Theater 2 to clean and we'll be ready to test them all out next Thursday!

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes, added timing for Annette and updated timing for the event in Theater 5 tomorrow night.

Marquee updated?:

Posters updated?: William temporarily took down Jungle Cruise and Suicide Squad from the lobby to be hung outside when F9 and Heights come down. In the lobby now are posters for Annette and Respect.

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
