NPP Projection Report 9/11

To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues: I changed  the masking for The Card Counter from 1.66 to 1.85 as there are flashbacks framed for 1.85 and I thought those might fill up more of the frame and/or bleed over the curtains, but the whole film is in fact cropped for 1.66, so those 1.85 flashback sequences are letterboxed within the 1.66 masking. I readjusted the playlist lens/masking change cues so the film will play normally in future shows.

Ordering/Receiving (content): Tried downloading new content for Language Lessons via Chrome. At the time I left the building the download was stuck at 94.8% where it had been for several hours after I started it. This was the second time of the night this download proved unsuccessful as the first file failed to ingest into the TMS. It might be worth stopping the progress on this current download and starting again.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
