NPP Projection Report 10/1

To do this evening/ was completed: Check on house lights down cues in Theater 7.

Manual starts: Second round Eyes of Tammy Faye in Theater 7; Third round Shang-Chi in Theater 3; Third round Addams Family in Theater 7.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Made the intro/Q&A slide for Texas Chainsaw Massacre into a DCP and ingested it to the TMS.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up:

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordered more Titane posters through IMoxie since we only got one. Also ordered Ghostbusters: Afterlife through IMoxie, and The Last Duel and Encanto through Vision.

Ingested trailers for Clifford, Spencer, Nightmare Alley, Licorice Pizza, and new trailers of Encanto and Eternals.

Ordering/Receiving (content): Drives for Dune (1984) and Moonrise Kingdom have arrived. We can ingest Moonrise Kingdom once Bottle Rocket comes off the servers, and Dune once Possessor has been deleted.

Continued converting NewFest shorts to DCP.

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Teched the print of Texas Chainsaw Massacre, it looks and sounds great. Ran the first two reels and the last reel all the way through, timed credits and updated cues.

Teched the DCP I made of The Wedding Banquet. It looks good and the open captions (for the Mandarin dialogue) work.

Teched the Bottle Rocket playlist with Desmond, it's all set for this weekend.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes, added tracking for No Time to Die. There was some sort of delay with the shipment so there's no estimated delivery date. I'll keep my eye on it and update when I know the date it'll be getting here.

Maintenance/cleaning:

Marquee updated?: Added "(2003)" and "on 35mm" to the Texas Chainsaw text on the 14th street side.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
