NPP Projection Report 10/14


To do this evening/ was completed: Hang NewFest posters in the lobby. Move Dune and French Dispatch outside and bring Spencer and Eternals back to 3/7 to get hung up later.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Added the 10/15 NPP forecast to all playlists

Built playlists for NewFest screenings through the 19th minus Truth or Dare.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Spoons Toons and Booze tonight in Theater 1. Everything is set under the curtain and Jack and I have gone over everything twice and I tested everything again today. Should be no problems with the setup tonight.

Connected a 1/8" cable to the Non-Sync input on the CP750 in Theater 2 to play house music for NewFest preshows.

Went over the sound mixer functions for the Live Sound Cinema setup with Michael. Was very helpful for knowing what to expect and how to prepare for sound check and the live performance.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Drive for Dune came in. We will ingest after some NewFest content is cleared.

The drive for Truth or Dare was not delivered today as Paramount promised, they accidentally sent it with FedEx 2nd day so the ETA is tomorrow by 4:30. I requested a drive be sent overnight which they say should be at the theater by 10:30am, but I have found an HD digital copy of the film which I'll make into a DCP tonight.

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Inspected the House of Wax print, it's in excellent condition.

Teched all NewFest preshow and trailers as well as the What's On Your Mind? shorts program.

Looked at the Possessor DCP again in Theater 3, checked the image at several points throughout and I must say I did not notice anything odd about the frame rate.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: I forgot to put this in my blog yesterday but I replaced one ceiling bulb in Theater 3. There is another that's out in the back corner but the bulb is too tight in the fixture and I couldn't screw it out with any of the tools or by hand without the risk of pulling the fixture out of the ceiling. Added to maintenance doc.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes updated timing for NewFest screenings through the 19th except Truth or Dare which will be filled in after it's teched tomorrow.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
