Ingest My Name is Pauli Murray directly to Theater 6 when the download finishes.

Two NewFest screenings tonight, one with an intro (The Wedding Banquet in Theater 3) and one with an intro and a Q&A (Homebody in Theater 2). The only complication is the preshow starts in Theater 2 as the intro starts in Theater 3, however if you preset the laptop in the Theater 2 booth, coordinate the handoff of mics and turning on the spotlights with Desmond, you can control Theater 3 from the booth PC in 3/7. Alternatively, there is a Splashtop app for iPhone which can be used to control things from inside the theater.

Please delete the NewFest content after it screens tonight.

Remove Shang-Chi, Titane, Lamb, and Addams Family 2 from the front of the marquee. Put up The Harder They Fall, The French Dispatch, and Dune. I pulled out the letters for these titles in 3/7, only missing one T for Harder They Fall, use one of the ones from Titane when you take that down.

If you get to it, take down posters for Shang-Chi, Lamb, Titane, and Addams Family 2 and move The Last Duel, Dune, French Dispatch, and The Harder They Fall over to where they were. On the 14th street side  you can put up Last Night in Soho, Eternals, Spencer, and King Richard.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Received this week's TrailMix drive.

Downloaded a DCP trailer for Switchblade Sisters, an event happening next January. We can leave this on the DCPII drive for the time being.

Ordering/Receiving (content): I noticed an issue with the ingest of The French Dispatch to the IMS servers from the TMS. It would continually fail and restart the ingest on every server. Other content was ingesting fine so I tried ingesting the feature directly to Theater 4's server using the CRU drive to USB sled we have. This worked and once it finished I sent it to Theater 7 from Theater 4 and started another direct ingest in Theater 1. From there I was able to send the feature to all the IMS servers without having to ingest directly to another IMS. This issue with ingesting to the IMS from the TMS is strange and has been coming up a lot recently with specific pieces of content. It happened with both the Titane feature from Eclair as well as Moonrise Kingdom which came from Deluxe. 

Downloading a DCP for My Name Is Pauli Murray to the 4/6 iMac. This is for the private Amazon event next Wednesday. When it finishes please load it onto the DCPII drive and ingest it directly to Theater 6.

The Gothika print should be here on Friday, awaiting confirmation of the delivery of the Fear print from DHL.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): We have several drives on the outgoing shelf, in addition to the two prints in booth 1 which are packed up and have return labels attached. If I don’t catch UPS tomorrow I’ll walk the drives over to the UPS store, and also try and set up a FedEx pickup for the prints.

Print/video Inspection: I checked the changeovers on the 35mm projectors in Theater 4 again today and realized that the issue is that the CP500 auto-switches to projector 1 as soon as you start the motor on that projector, and won't switch over to projector 2 unless the motor on projector 1 is not running. I explained this to DMS and they said it should be a wiring issue and not too difficult to fix.

I checked the 35mm projectors in Theater 6 as well just in case, and they work great. No issues with sound switching at changeovers and the digital and analog soundheads are both working on each projector, as well.

Teched the French Dispatch playlist and feature, all set!

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
