NPP Projection Report 10/21


To do this evening/ was completed: Please delete playlists and feature CPLs for Addams Family 2, Lamb, Shang-Chi, and Titane after the first round, there is only one show for each of these titles tonight and they are all during the first round.

Ingest the French Dispatch preshow (along with Slide_NHDiaries_Fear) to the TMS, then send the French Dispatch preshow to the Theater 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 IMS servers.

Ingest the short A Look Back (for the Dogtown & Z Boys screening 11/3) to the Theater 1 IMS server.

More NewFest screenings tonight, Scary of Sixty-First with intro and Q&A in Theater 2 and Cut! with an intro only in Theater 3. Playlists and content are all set and the intro/Q&A set-ups are still good to go in both theaters. Placed the spotlight remote for Theater 3 in the plastic box behind the curtain on the right hand side of the screen. Same as every other night, delete the show playlist and feature content from TMS and IMS servers.

Presentation Issues: When the first preshow started in Theater 1, I got an A/C interlock warning on the projector touch screen which kept the lamp from turning on. The ventilation was working so I loosened the collar on the duct connected to the projector and took it off and put it on again which brought the interlock to the right position and made the warning go away so I could turn on the lamp.

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Downloading the French Dispatch preshow to the DCPII drive.

Trailer Updates: Downloaded the new NPP forecast trailer and added to preshow in all first run playlists.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Handed off all of our outgoing drives to UPS.

Scheduled a FedEx pickup of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre and House of Wax prints for tomorrow.

Print/video Inspection: Teched Dune and The Harder They Fall, both are ready to go.

Teched My Name is Pauli Murray for the private event next week. It looks and sounds good and tech info is written in the asset tracking doc. Checking if there's any other content I'll need (such as a slide for the Q&A) before I build the playlist.

Inspected the Fear print, head and tail leaders are uncut on all reels so it's possible this hasn't been projected much. It looks very good, will do a tech check tomorrow morning with Cristina.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes, added tracking for Last Night in Soho and The Addams Family DCPs (coming on a combo drive from Paramount, it's one of several features on the drive) as well as the Gothika print all of which should be arriving tomorrow.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
