NPP Projection Report 10/23 Open



To do this evening/ was completed: Removed Newfest content from TMS after screenings concluded. Received and ingested keys for Dawn of the Dead.

Presentation Issues: Soundtrack App is not functioning properly on iPad in 4/6. Unable to use it. Jesse had to connect to the app through his phone to get music going this morning.

One of the two Shure microphones in the case with the zipper was not working today. These were set up in Hi-Res. May have been the XLR cable it was connected to (one of the Shure cables with the orange ring around it). I had sound coming from it initially but at some point it just stopped working. I connected a new mic to see if that was the problem, but still no sound. Switched out the XLR and sound returned.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
