NPP Projection Report 11/11 Open/Event


To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Converted and ingested the updated Foxy Brown preshow and added it to the playlist.

Built and scheduled the Wolfwalkers playlist. Desmond was around today but I didn't have a chance to tech this because of the band's sound check.

Trailer Updates: Removed the Foxy Brown trailer from the Adult trailer pack and added Nightmare Alley.

Built alternate Adult and Teen playlists with Another Round and The Vast of Night trailers and added them to the features Desmond requested.

Special Events/ AV set up: Morricone Youth came to the theater at noon for a soundcheck, this went well and the set up was left under the curtain during the first round. During preshow for the Foxy Brown screening a few more members of the band arrived so we did another soundcheck. There wasn't time after everything to check the print again but since I'd looked at it yesterday and there were no major concerns with it there was no problem. Their set and the screening went smoothly!

John and I set up the turntables in Trees Lounge before opening. Devon got set up toward the end of the screening and I turned the sound on after it ended. The set was going well as I left.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
