NPP Projection Report 11/12 Admin

To do this evening/ was completed: Added and scheduled Power of the Dog.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built playlists for Josie & the Pussycats and Power of the Dog.

Trailer Updates: Ingested the Benedetta trailer and the new NPP forecast.

Special Events/ AV set up: Private screening of Spy Kids in Theater 1 this morning, went smoothly.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Received the drive for The Power of the Dog.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): UPS picked up all the outgoing drives.

Print/video Inspection: Teched the Belfast, Wolfwalkers, and Planes, Trains, and Automobiles playlists, all are good to go.

Tech checked the Never Talk to Strangers print in Theater 6, it looks and sounds good. Cristina mentioned that the soundtrack is a bit muddy but nothing major.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes, added info for Encanto and a few DCPs for special events which have shown up on the Deluxe portal.

Maintenance/cleaning:

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes, updated timing for the Josie & the Pussycats event.

Marquee updated?: Added Belfast to the front of the marquee.

Posters updated?: Put a now showing snipe above the Belfast poster, also brought Encanto into the lobby and moved C'mon C'mon outside so that next week's new titles are all already hanging outside.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
