NPP Projection Report 11/15 Open and Close

To do this evening/ was completed: Ran house checks; rear ceiling light in theater 5 is still out but isn't a hindrance to the overall brightness in the room.

Ingested new keys for French Dispatch and Eternals. 

Presentation Issues: Light interlock alarm/Light change recommended in theater 1

Special Events/ AV set up: Tech screened Josie and the Pussycats for Desmond in theater 2 this afternoon and changed the preshow to "Anniversary2K1" at his request; spotlights and mics in good working order. Intro and screening went smoothly. Set up a mic for Desmond in Trees Lounge after the show.

Ordering/Receiving (content): Received and ingested feature and keys for The Vast of Night, however, the feature file we were sent is listed as OCAP; received Barb and Star DCP and tried ingesting but had some difficulty with the TMS during the upload

Additional Notes: The Soundtrack app on the 4/6 booth iPad was playing music when I arrived this morning so I'm assuming it disconnected from the internet again and is not running off its scheduled mode? I tried to reboot it but the app says it "failed to connect to its servers" before restarting and having the same connectivity issue; I've paused the music for now but will resume playing it as the the building opens to guests this afternoon

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
