NPP Projection Report 11/16 Admin


To do this evening/ was completed: Take down Encanto and King Richard posters and replace with Red Rocket and West Side Story, both those titles are not being booked so please take the posters down as soon as you can. Also, toward the end of the night, put a now showing snipe above The Power of the Dog and add the title to the front of the marquee.

Ingest the content for the event in Theater 4 on Thursday night when it's done converting to the DCPII drive. Plug the drive into the Theater 4 projector and ingest directly to the IMS, not to the TMS.

Work on cues and schedule for Friday 11/19 - Monday 11/22.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Cristina told me we're getting posters for Once Upon a Time in China, probably being delivered tomorrow. If they come please hang them outside. They can go up in place of whichever posters are still coming soon outside.

Ordering/Receiving (content): The Tenet print arrived.

It turns out we had not received any DCP of The Vast of Night, only an open caption supplement file which was sent with the keys. Just for future reference, a feature DCP will never be sent as an attachment to an email. Feature DCPs are usually over 100GB which is well over the limit for email attachments. There was some confusion as Amazon thought this was being delivered through Eclair but Eclair told us that the title hasn't been available on their platform for a while, so Amazon/Deluxe are shipping a drive overnight for delivery tomorrow. 

Downloaded the video file for the event this Thursday night, it's a recording of a performance done over Zoom, so the quality is not great and the hosts are aware of this. I've started converting it to DCP, please ingest to Theater 4 when it's done.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Scheduled a pickup of The Ring print with FedEx for tomorrow, please leave it on the cart.

Print/video Inspection: Ran the last reel of Never Talk to Strangers to time the credits. Filled in the time on the cue sheets.

Teched the Power of the Dog playlist, it's all set.

Inspected the Tenet print. It's a lot dirtier than I would have expected for such a new print, but otherwise it's in great condition.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
